Enclosed with the latest edition of the Employers’ Guide was a set of revised REEF fact sheets:
- Termination of Employment
- Leave Entitlements
- Employee Entitlements on Transfer of Business
- Requests for Flexible Working Arrangements
- Record Keeping and Pay Slips
- Hiring New Employees
- Key Superannuation Rates and Legislation
Don’t forget to throw out any old versions and file the revised fact sheets in your REEF folder.

Commission-only employment fact sheet
We haven’t yet produced a revised fact sheet relating to commission-only employment arrangements. This is because the Fair Work Commission is yet to make its final determination about the conditions that will apply moving forward. While it’s not known when the Commission will make its determination, we expect it to be before the end of 2017 and will produce a revised fact sheet as soon as possible thereafter.
Long service leave fact sheets
You’ll note that long service leave is not included in the revised Leave Entitlements Fact Sheet. Long service leave entitlements differ between jurisdictions and we’ll be producing customised fact sheets for each State and Territory. These will be available soon.
