REEF Committee of Management election for 1 casual vacancy

REEF’s success is in no small part due to the commitment and guidance of the Committee of Management who give their time on a voluntary basis.

The Committee is responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the organisation. The varied real estate backgrounds of the Committee members ensures that REEF maintains its prominent position as the workplace relations voice for the real estate industry nationwide.

The Committee of Management comprises the authorised representative of 8 REEF members who are elected for a 3-year term by the membership through a ballot. The elections are conducted by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC).

Due to a recent resignation, there is currently 1 casual vacancy. The AEC are currently calling for nominations for this vacant Committee of Management position.

The successful candidate will represent REEF members on the Committee of Management until the next election – scheduled for April 2026. Committee members are not paid for the contribution they make to the Federation but are reimbursed for all ‘out-of-pocket’ expenses incurred for being on the Committee.

The authorised representative of any financial REEF member is eligible to be nominated. Nomination forms can be downloaded by clicking the following link: https://reef.org.au/wp-content/uploads/E2024-61-REEF-Nomination-Form.pdf
