New REEF Management Committee elected

The Australian Electoral Commission recently conducted elections for the 2017-18 REEF Committee of Management. Congratulations to those members elected to the Committee.

REEF’s success is in no small part due to the energy and guidance of the Committee of Management, who give of their time on a voluntary basis. The varied real estate backgrounds of the Committee members is instrumental in ensuring REEF maintains its pre-eminent role as the workplace relations voice for the real estate industry.

Fred Andriessen
President

Fred is Principal of Andriessen Property at Cardiff. He was Vice-President of the Federation from 2000 to 2015 and has held the position of President since 2016. He has been on the REEF Management Committee since 1990.

Christian Payne
Vice President

Christian is the Principal of Payne Pacific Estate Agents at Cronulla. He joined the REEF Management Committee in 2002 and is a recent past President of the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales.

Paul Byrne
Treasurer

Paul is a Principal of L J Hooker Commercial Bankstown. He was elected to the Management Committee in 2005 and has held the position of Treasurer since 2015.

Paul Deegan
Committee Member

Paul joined the REEF Management Committee in 1997. He is a previous REEF Vice President and is a Life Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales.

Joanne Thorpe
Committee Member

Jo joined the REEF Management Committee in 2016 and is a Principal at Fisk & Nagle First Choice Real Estate who have various offices in the South East of NSW.

Neil Johnston
Committee Member

Neil joined the REEF Management Committee in 2015 and is the General Manager of Rutherford Johnston Properties in the ACT.

Sandra Higgins
Committee Member

Sandra joined the REEF Management Committee in 2013 and is a Principal of Myplace Estate Agents in Sydney’s inner South-East.

Lisa Surian
Committee Member

Lisa is a Director of Raine & Horne Parramatta and she follows in her father’s footsteps, who served on the REEF Management Committee in the early 2000’s. This is Lisa’s first term on the Federation’s Management Committee.
