A message from the CEO: What’s happening at REEF

It’s hard to believe we’re halfway through the year. What started as a busy year shows no sign of slowing down. Here’s just a few things we’ve been focused on.

People Management System review

Every REEF member has access to our award-winning People Management System. Over the years, we’ve invested heavily in developing the software so it serves the HR needs of our members. As part of our efforts to continuously improve the system, we’ve recently undertaken a comprehensive review of the content. You can read more about what’s been updated by reading this article.

Annual General Meeting

REEF’s 50th Annual General Meeting was held on 27 April 2017. Fred Andriessen, in his first annual report as President, gave attendees a rundown of the major activities REEF was involved in over the course of 2016. His report demonstrates the ‘hard yards’ REEF has put in – often behind the scenes – to secure a better workplace environment for our members.

2017 Roadshow

And finally, just a reminder that we’re still travelling around the state with the Roadshow. This is a landmark year for your industry, as we navigate a changed workplace environment following the four- year award review. By attending the Roadshow, you’ll be better equipped to deal with the changing landscape ahead.
