The Clerks-Private Sector Award 2020 ('the Award') came into effect on 29 May 2020. There have been numerous changes to the Award throughout the review process, about which REEF has notified you along the way. These changes are now contained in the attached consolidated Award which is written in plain language. Hopefully, this will make it easier to read and understand. To satisfy your legal obligations and to avoid a potential $63,000 fine, you must ensure that a copy of the Award applicable to your clerical employees is made available to them. This means you must: - Provide them with a PDF copy of the Clerks Private Sector Award 2020 or - Email them a hyperlink to the Clerks Private Sector Award 2020 https://www.fwc.gov.au/documents/documents/modern_awards/award/ma000002/default.htm or - Make a hard copy available to them in a convenient location in your office Lastly, don't forget to dispose of any existing copies of the predecessor Award.
